After two and a half amazing years in the Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research (IEOR) in the University of California at Berkeley as a postdoctoral fellow and a year as as an associate director at the Integrated Media Systems Center (IMSC) in the University of Southern California I am now an Assistant Professor at the devision of Environmental, Water and Agricultural Engineering in the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology

My research focuses on Enviromatics, an exciting new research field which aims at devising mathematical programming and pattern recognition methods for machine understanding of trends and behaviors of built and natural environments. This includes  Environmental Distributed Sensing (i.e., distributed air and water quality monitoring), Safety and Traffic Data Realization and Structural Sensory Networks.
