I am an Associate Professor at the division of Environmental, Water and Agricultural
Engineering in the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology
My research has pioneered the field of Environmental Informatics (Enviromatics), which focuses on developing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) models to enhance our understanding of complex, built, and natural environments.
The primary objective is to leverage advanced machine learning and physical models, along with engineering principles, computing, and networked sensing data analytics, to analyze data collected from built and natural environments. This in return, improves the efficiency, resilience, and sustainability of infrastructure and natural systems.
